Episode #744: Podcast for June 8, 2013 Shows

Tomorrow’s live four-hour This is Hell! begins at 9AM (US central) on WNUR 89.3FM, streaming live here, and podcast at this site shortly after our over-the-air broadcast.

This weekend, your bitter blind broke gap-toothed radio show host Chuck Mertz will interview The Nation’s George Zornick who talks NSA, the Institute for Policy Studies’ Laura Carlsen will report on Mexico, author Penny Lewis explains ‘The Vietnam Antiwar Movement as Myth and Memory,’ and Voices for Concerned Nonviolence’s Kathy Kelly tells us of her last month in Afghanistan.

Our correspondents will be…

Marc Flury live from Seoul and Spencer Thunderball Thayer gives a live report from preparations for World Naked Bike Day.

Jeff Dorchen delivers a Moment of Truth live from the filming of his new movie in India.

Producers on tomorrow’s show will be Alex Jerri and John Serafin.

Why isn’t this episode up yet in ITunes, nor last week’s? I’m REALLY in hell without them!

  • http://thisishell.net Chuck Mertz

We have no control of the iTunes account, nor will they give it to us.

Last week’s is here at the site. This week, there were major technical difficulties that kept us from getting guests on the air until the second hour of the show. We’ll be posting an edited version of that show up shortly. The only thing that will be edited out is a reply of the last Chomsky interview. We played some of that conversation so we could figure out the technical issue.

We still didn’t fix the problem, but we were able to put something on the air. The guests and Spencer were fantastic!

Thanks to Alex and John for working on this issue.
