Saturday, May 21, This is Hell! aired a live four hour show beginning at 9 AM (US central) on WNUR 89.3 FM, Chicago’s Sound Experiment.

This weekend, your bitter blind broke gap-toothed radio show host Chuck Mertz will interviewed:

  • live in-studio, Homayoun Pourzad a leader of the Network of Iranian Labor Unions and a member of the editorial collective at the Iran Labor Report. Homayoun is in the States to build solidarity between Americans and the Iran labor movement.
  • Anatol Lieven is professor of international relations and terrorism studies in the War Studies department of King’s College, London, and a senior fellow at the New American Foundation. Anatol is the author of the new book, “Pakistan: A Hard Country” (Public Affairs).
  • Marjorie Cohn is the immediate past president of the National Lawyers Guild and a professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she teaches criminal law and procedure, evidence, and international human rights law. Marjorie’s recent writing includes, “The Targeted Assassination of Osama Bin Laden” and “Torture Is Never Legal and Didn’t Lead Us to Bin Laden.”
