The ‘Best of This is Hell!: 2011‘ airs this Saturday, December 24, 2011, for four hours beginning at 9 AM (US central) on Chicago’s Sound Experiment WNUR 89.3 FM, streaming live and podcast shortly after here.

Hosted by producer Theron Hummiston, the interviews from the past year that will be featured include those with Seymour Hersh, Noam Chomsky, John Mearsheimer, Stephen Walt, Immanuel Wallerstein, Mark Danner, who had just written the piece, “After September 11: Our State of Exception,” and former CIA agent Glenn Carle, author of “The Interrogator: An Education.”

This is Hell! returns with a brand new live four hour show Saturday, January 7, 2012.

    Thank you for breaking out the individual interviews for podcasts.  How about doing this for each of your shows during the year?

    Bill, we’ll start breaking shows into roughly hour long segments based on interviews sometime this year. However they will have ads added to them. For those who don’t want the ads we’ll have a subscription model for people to download the complete show.
