Your bitter blind broke gap-toothed radio show host Chuck Mertz interviewed:
- Matthew Rothschild is editor of the Madison, Wisconsin, based magazine The Progressive. Matthew recently wrote the article, “Glorious Rallies in Madison, Ground Zero of the Fight Back.”
- Award-winning journalist and cultural historian Jeff Biggers is the author of, “Reckoning at Eagle Creek, The United States of Appalachia and In the Sierra Madre,” and a contributing editor to the Bloomsbury Review. He has been a recipient of the American Book Award, the David Brower Award for Environmental Reporting, a Foreword Magazine Book of the Year Award, a Lowell Thomas Award for Travel Journalism, a Plattner Award for Appalachian Literature, the Delta Award for Southern Illinois literature, a Field Foundation Fellowship and an Illinois Arts Council Creative Non-Fiction Award/Fellowship. This week, he posted the article, “Balloon Over Coal-Fired Chicago: Mayor Daley, is This Your Green Legacy?“
Our irregular correspondents were:
- Dr. Krys Bigosinski, MD returns to talk about whatever the hell he wants to talk about …
- Michael Roper, proprietor of Chicago’s Hopleaf, talks beer …
- Jeff Dorchen delivers a Moment of Truth.
