Dan Ellsberg is the man who released the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times effectively shortening the war. The guys who broke into Watergate, first broke into Dan Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office before they bungled the break-in that took down President Nixon. When you think about it, if there was no Dan Ellsberg, the war would have continued with thousands upon thousands more deaths, and Nixon would have served his full term
