Because Thayer and Geovanis are both directly involved in the organizational campaigns that are affected most by Rahm’s changes in the law. In that instance they are experts on this subject. Aldermen who have never marched on the streets certainly have no concept of what it is like on the ground during a protest. Nor to many journalists who just repost press releases.

Fox news will sometimes have valuable reporting. You cannot discount a news outlet entirely just because it is for the most part ran as a propaganda arm of the Republican party and corporate power.
