economist Gerald Epstein is the co-director of the Political Economy Research Institute and a Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts. Jerry is co-author of the new report, “Financial Economists, Financial Interests and Dark Corners of the Meltdown: It’s Time to set Ethical Standards for the Economics Profession.” He is also a long-time member of the Center for Popular Economics.
Greg Anrig is Vice President for Programs at The Century Foundation where he has been responsible for overseeing projects on public policy as well as its fellows since 1994. He is author of,  “The Conservatives Have No Clothes: Why Right-Wing Ideas Keep Failing” (John Wiley &#38; Sons). Greg was a staff writer and Washington correspondent for Money magazine. His most recent writing includes the American Prospect article, “Austerity: The False Cure.”
sociologist Martin Shaw is professorial fellow in international relations and human rights at Roehampton University, London, and an honorary research professor of international relations at the University of Sussex. Martin’s is author of 2007’s “What is Genocide?” (Polity). His most recent writing includes the openDemocracy article, “Iraq, war and WikiLeaks: the real story.”
Martha Rosenberg writes on the impact of the pharmaceutical,  food and gun industries on public health. Her work has appeared in the  Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune and many other  outlets. Her most recent writing includes, &#8220;15 Dangerous Drugs Big Pharma Shoves Down Our Throats.&#8221;
Neill Franklin, is the executive director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. Neill is a 33- year law enforcement veteran of both the Maryland State Police and Baltimore Police forces. He has served as a commander for the Maryland State Police’s Bureau of Drug and Criminal Enforcement, as well as a trainer with the Baltimore Police Department. His most recent writing includes the Alternet article, “10 Ways to Outfox Cops That Are Abusing Their Powers to Trick You.”

André Schiffrin, author of the new book, “Words and Money: A publishing luminary analyzes the crisis of the media and considers the alternatives” (Verso Books). Andre was the publisher at Pantheon Books for 30 years. He left in 1990 to start the not-for-profit publisher The New Press. In 2000, Andre wrote the book, “The Business of Books: How the International Conglomerates Took Over Publishing and Changed the Way We Read” (Verso Books). His most recent book prior to “Words and Money” was 2007’s, “A Political Education: Coming of Age in Paris and New York” (Melville Books). He was also one of the founders of the organization that became Students for a Democratic Society.</itunes:summary>
